A vector illustration of the pirate Thomas Tew for a children’s book project caricaturing real pirates from history. Tew was known as the Rhode island pirate and apparently only really had two sea-faring adventures, the first of which was extremely successful making him incredibly rich. The second ended with him being shot in the stomach with a cannon ball, so less successful by comparison!

Watercolour and acrylic illustration of a robot dressed as a knight challenging a dragon. A spread from a children’s book idea I’m working on called ‘Don’t Knowbot’ about an imaginative robot with an identity crisis. Clcik the ‘view full story’ at the top for a close up (sorry it’s not the full story yet, technical issues!)

Vector caricatures of Dennis Hopper, Marlon Brando and Heath Ledger as ghosts campaigning to get on the Oscar Memorial Reel. Inspired by an online article about how the competitive nature of the Academy Awards even extends into posthumous awards.

Simple vector caricatures of Quentin Tarantino, Christoph Waltz and Jamie Foxx. A personal illustration project designed to accompany an article in a film magazine about Tarantino’s latest film ‘Django Unchained’

I was working on an idea for a marketing project thinking up super villains, the project didn’t go anywhere so I decided to illustrate the characters I created so they weren’t wasted. This is Cyborang Utan the result of a tragic experiment to create simian super soldiers who escaped and now runs amok.

A vector illustration of Ironman. This is one of a few Super Hero posters I illustrated to decorate my sons’ bedroom.

A vector illustration of Wolverine. This is one of a few Super Hero posters I illustrated to decorate my sons’ bedroom.

A vector illustration of Mr Freeze. This is one of a few Super Hero posters I illustrated to decorate my sons’ bedroom.
